Why Substack?

Thomas Cunniffe who writes wonderfully about jazz and hosts Jazz History Online suggested it and a number of friends and fans of the podcast also pushed me in this direction.

So, here we go.

The basic point of view will be my own personal, sometimes idiosyncratic, interpretations of music, musicians, songs and albums. I’ll continue writing about Frank Sinatra but I’ll also spend time on other favorite singers and classic Jazz that have impacted me.
